Well well well...how horrible I have been! I love this blog thing and love to see what others are doing but I just haven't been updating! Sorry.

So where to start. Being in our own house is amazing and we love our neighbors :) Justin is working on finishing our basement and that def. keeps him busy on his days off.

Now where has the time gone. OUr baby boy Daxton is already 4 months old. AHHHH I just can't believe it. He is such a happy boy and def. puts up with a lot from his big sister!!! ALready rolling over and starting on stage one foods. I honestly can not believe it. I remember when TOri was born I was always excited to watch her grow and see the new things she could do. I am quite the opposite this go around. I just want him to slow down and stay my baby!!!!

THese next few months will be busy full of fun. Birthdays and Holidays. I am a party planner so I am so excited for all that is in store :)

So much more...FOrgot to mention that Justin had to get his appendix out which was no fun!!!

So much has changed in the last 4 mo (guess that is about the last time I posted). Wow...time sure does get away from you. I always want to post more often but end up reading up and seeing how everyone else is doing. It's an addiction...hahah.

Well a little boy is in our future! Very near future that is. Daxton Scott Walker will be here on or before May 8th, as of the plan right now! We are so excited to welcome him to his new home! Tori will be a great big sister but I think it will def be an adjustment. She loves getting all the attention. I think she will be a great helper though :) I am a bit nervous! I just hope that I will be a great mom to two. Justin will be a great dad and I think he is pretty excited...one adjustment for him though may be having to do a few more diaper changes then the last go around...which if you know him he has a weak stomach, which I also think he has passed on to Torrance. She gags at lots of different scents!

We also should be closing on a New Home (that is new to us) by May 29...we hope it can happen sooner but we are excited either way. I can't wait to get all my stuff out of storage and also decorate Daxton's and Torrance's rooms. It will take a bit longer to get things unpacked but so worth it!

Justin got a job at the Wind Turbines right outside of Lyman and so we will be staying put. Evanston where our home will be for a while. No more traveling unless it's a vacation. I am sad about it at times because traveling was so fun. But I am excited to have a stable home where we can make friends and get to spend more time with our families!

Well...Things have been fun and exciting around here these past few months. #1 Most exciting is baby #2 will be here May 12 :) It's a boy! I am less nervous then I first was but now things are starting to sink in...Photo taken around Aug 6.

Hope she will be such a great big sis and not get too jealous!
Tori will be turning two Dec. 9th so we are preparing for the big birthday. She helped me make Magic Reindeer food for the kiddos to take home...it turned out to be a nice big mess!
About a week to two weeks ago there was a nice snow storm. We went out to shovel and she refused to wear gloves. After falling in the white stuff she quickly changed her mind. Then after having gloves on for a few min she decided she was done. Think I raised a St. George girl so far;)
Thanksgiving was fun this year...although we did miss Ranell, Brandon, Capri and Collin, most of all JUSTIN who had to go back to work in KS and is still there. Luckily he will be home for Christmas!!!!
Disney on Ice...was such a blast! Tori had fun but next time we will hope Aladin is there (her favorite)!
Thanks to my sister Melanie we got some great family photos. I had been wanting them for a long time, but I think it was work the wait. What an amazing photographer she is :)
Halloween was a blast! We got home from KS two days before and were able to take the kids out together...They loved it, can't wait for next year~
Actual Halloween day. Tori had two costumes so we had double the fun. Plus she is such a disney lover~Mickey and Minnie that she had no problem dressing up again, even if we did just stay around the house!

I am going to try and post more often because I know how great these memories are. Plus I love looking at other peoples blogs and appreciate a good update every once in a while!

Things that have happened this month...Thought there was going to be a Tornado in KS....we had our bags packed to go to the shelter! Tori is getting so big and jealous of Gavin and Gage, my cousins twin boys. This makes it hard to love on them. And we have had some visitors, Justin's mom and Grandpa. We have been enjoying our time here but will be excited to go back to Wy in the next few months. Who knows where we will be next but we are ready to continue our Adventure!!!

So...We have def. been enjoying KS :)

Tori is getting so big and we are working on the "potty training" thing. It is tough but she is doing great and loves chocolate and Swedish fish for her reward.

We have also purchased a new computer and so I have been editing photos like crazy. It is so fun but I have to really mess with the program before I can figure out things. I am not the best as the whole computer thing. *** Mel..this is post is for you, especially the 1st pic cause I know how much you love trees!

We have been in Kansas for a little over a month now and it has been pretty fun. I have gotten tons of great photos but sometimes it takes forever to upload pics and I just hate waiting. Pics will come soon I promise.

What we have been up too...

*Staying inside for the most part because it has been very hot. So hot in fact we had to buy another AC for our trailer(the window kind).

*Driving to the YMCA about every other day to go work out and swim at their water park. Tori loves it and is even getting used to their little daycare system that they have while moms work out. Down side to going is I am putting miles on the jeep and I am eating more yummy stuff cause why not if I work out :)

* Walking around the trailer park so that gizmo can get a little exercise and not feel like we don't love him.

*Going to the Mall with aunt Jordan who came to visit and Cassie and the Boys. Also McCalisters which is an awesome Deli!

*Sundays are great too because Justin has the Day OFF!!! YAY. Usually we go to Wichita and have lunch and do a little shopping. Still have not made it to the church here but I will eventually. I love meeting new people and see how the church is a little different due to the different state.

That's about it but hopefully I will get pics up to show a little more of our life here in Kansas :)

18 months old and such a cutie pie!

Well...we have been From Cali to Evanston and now to Kansas since march. I love this traveling thing for now but wow how I have started missing all my family and friends after only a few short days. Kansas is fun so far but like I said it's only been a few days :) It is so warm here and I love that! Evanston has been nice but even the 4th of July was pretty chilly!

Tori is going so fast. Once I took away her binki about 1 month ago she has become such a chatter box and has progressed more then I could have ever thought! The dr asked me at her 18 month check-up if she knew at lest 20 words. I was shocked because I bet she knows at least 200.

The other day we asked Tori if she wanted a brother or sister...she said Brother :) We may just have to think about another little baby at our place. Tori loves babies but who knows how she will feel when she looses some of my attention...WE SHALL SEE!!!

We will keep every one posted on our new jourey!

I am not sure that I should be one or that I am the best all I know as my daughter sure makes being a mom seem easy. I see other mom's and do not know what I would do if I were in their shoes. Through all these changes we have been going through this past year Tori has been such a trooper.

Justin and Tori made today special by just being with and there for me. We went to Santa Cruz with my Father-in-Law and enjoyed the day. Rode on rides like we were at the carnival.

Today was great and I expect many more AMAZING Mother's Days to come.

*Ps...If you didn't already know my mom shaped me to be the person I am today. I love her and still have so much to learn from her. I am so glad I got to be back in Evanston for three months enjoying her company!

Bubba Gumps is awesome. If you love seafood. If not just order an Avocado and Smoothie and you will be great. Just ask Tori :0

Ok..yes it is a leash. And yes I think people that have their kids on them are crazy but...I have turned into a crazy mom. She wants to walk and doesn't like to hold hands sometimes so this is what works. I can't believe it but YES.

Starting the long journey to Cali.. Gustine/ Santa Nella is the town we are living it. It is not a big city Like Fresno, San Fran or LA but it seems nice. But, lets just say we are definately the minority here.

Tori is getting so BIG and Smart!!!

15 months tomorrow...and here are some updates.

Letting me finally put on her jewlery...braclets :)
Saying "plesss"(please in such a sweet soft voice), "cado" (Avadcado), "shos" (shoes) "Dad" not dada :) "ape" (Justin is teaching her that and I remind her it's Momma :) "sacks"(socks).
Still loves her shoes and her favs are Pink with furr at the top! Yes she picks out her own shoes. Most of the time.

All Dressed up~ No place to go but lookin good. These are the favorite shoes. I love them. They click all around the house while she walkes. I think TOri likes them cause she makes noise and gets lots of attention.

Visiting Grandma G at work...If it's nice we take a short walk. Grandma got somewhat of a kiss for giving Tori a sweedish fish.

Having a blast while visitng the Whicker family. Aren't they the cutest lil cousins??

I hate to admit this but she is starting to get the Cheesey Grin her momma has :)

Time is flying by. Tomorrow my Torrance Sue will be 14 months. I can't believe how fast she is growing. I love to experiance life with her every single day. She is always doing new things that surprising me. How can such a little angel be so smart? I don't know. Although she doesn't say many words she understands most everything(not sure about the word "no" yet though). She knows that when I say, "go throw that away", she should put the item in the garbage. She loves to throw away her dirty diapers... Or when I say, "which foot should we put the sock on?" she will put one foot by my hand. My favorite though is when I say, "that is hot!" She will hold out her hand and very quitely say "hot" (at least that's what I hear.) And it really doesn't matter what I say is "hot". That word works well for out-lets :) Also when she has a stuffy nose and I say,"lets blow...blow" she grabs a tissue usually and blows. Somtimes a sock works or just her hand but she knows it will clear that stuffy nose.

Also Tori is such a girly girl. She has loved her purse since 12 months. Now loves necklaces but doesn't keep them on long. Loves to try on shoes that are by the front door. She also loves her bright pink crocks that almost fit. And loves the sweets! One great thing about it though is she loves not only chocolate but also fruit.

Oh and last but not least...she loves pop. Ya, not a good habit to already have but it's true and she knows when you've got it. She is such a guzzler :)

This holiday season was so fun. We got to spend some needed quality time with our entire family. After being gone for about five months we couldn't wait to celebrate. We did alot of going back and forth from my families house to Justins but it was def worth it. From Christmas Eve movie to the PJ's from the elves...to opening presents @ 5 AM (so fun to see what Tori got, we enjoyed that more then her), to FOOD FOOD and MORE Food...to the day after sleding. We certainly had a blast.

Sad part was Justin went bak to work on the 29..he will be gone about a month...hopefully not longer. While missing him we went and hung out with the girls..and brandon. Tori and Capri sure had fun together. We enjoyed the laughs and cries they had while playing...

Well Tori had a great first birthday and made out very well. It started off as a long day because we move to a new area the night before and due to the weather...the next day we woke up with no power. I was stressing cause I still wanted to do shopping and come back and make the cake. Well it all turned out but we didn't do cake and presents until about 7pm.

Torrance was so cute and happy. I really think she knew we were celebrating her. With a little help from me she opened gifts and of course like most lil ones she loved the paper. Her most favorite gift though was a purse with bracelts in it that she got from her grandpa Moon. After presents we did the cake. Us adults had the cupcake tree and she had her own lil cake. It was so fun to watch her dig in. Once she had that first bite she was hooked. She def loves sugar :) After the cake...it was bath time. Our family was still over and she was angry at me for taking her away from the part. SHe really knew she was the center of attention. So funny!!

All I can say is that this year has flown by. My baby is one and is walking, and getting an attitude. I love this little angel and have no idea where I would be or what I would be doing if she weren't here. Justin and I love our lives with Torrance in it. It's sad how fast time flies once you are a parent but I love seeing her progress and learn. I hope I can teach her to be a great girl who has morals, personality with tons of humor (which I lack but a quality I love in others), the smarts :) and so much more.

Halloween was so fun this year. Usually I am a party pooper and don't dress up but this year I did it. Made Justin dress up too. It wasn't too crazy but we had fun. Tori was my Halloween Princes (I couldn't find a costume I liked so we just threw some stuff together and I made the ever so trusty TUTU. Hopefully next year we will find the perfect costume!)

So time has flown by since we have been out here. Also our little girl is just growing so fast..

1) She went from army crawl to big girl crawl to crawling up stairs (and falling down), now she is taking baby steps with help of course but she really wants to walk on HER OWN!!

2) Going from no fussing to some fussing...dont get me wrong I couldn't ask for a easier more mellow baby but she has some tantrums and usually wants me at those times. I got the crying pic on my phone but not on my camera so I guess you just get to see the happy faces :)

3) Tori has become so independant and persistant...no more baby food. She wants finger food so she can fee herself. Also she has to hold the leash when we go on our daily walks. Anger stikes if I dont allow it!! Cracks me up. If I taker her down the stairs, she goes back up.

**There is so much more but those are just some of the highlights!

As for Justin and I we are doing great. We love our new little home(Trailer). Justin has become an opperator which has made his life alot easier on the pipeline. It definately makes for a much happier daddy when 5-6 pm roles around, but for those of you who know Justin he is almost always happy (he is the optiamist, which he always reminds me of..HAHA) and rarely complains. I am loving the stay-at-home mom thing and being with my little lady. We try to keep busy. My new thing is Jewlery Making (Tori sometimes breaking). Also I finally got a Cricut and it is amazing.

So it was Justin's Birthday on Sept 28th... I tried to make it special but there is only so much we could do since he worked all day. I made one of his favorite dishes Fetuccini Alfredo and then we had cheese cake for desert. Yummy! He bought himself a new Xbox last week so his gift from me was a movie. Very exciting :( We did enjoy our time together and thats all that matters. I think he was happy that he got off of work a little earlier which was a birthday gift in its self. Saddest part is I didn't even take a 25th B-day Pic of him. I will post some updated pics of us soon. I love you babe and please don't feel like 25 is old. I feel the same about you as I did when you were 18... HAHA.

My little girl is growing right before my eyes. I love this little angel so much. I am so greatful to have her and her daddy in my life. I am so happy to be able to see and be with her all day everyday. She is def. a moma's girl and hates when I leave the room. It makes me feel loved but we need to break her of that habbit :) She has changed so much the past few months.

In a small town in Nebraska. Nebraska is filled with many corn fields.. Very pretty!

I wanted to get to Statesboro as quick as possible~Jordan wanted to stop and sitesee...

I think Tori was sleeping so she didn't get in many of the state line photos.

Jordan loves Superman and so we had to stop in Metropolis and see the big statue despite my hesitation...I guess I owed her :)

Not sure what was up with my camera but I didnt get one good photo of Tennesse!

Never stay at the cheepest motel!!! We saw at least two cockroaches~ Ya I didn't sleep much...they finally got some sleep as I packed the truck. We were almost there!!

It has almost been 1 month since we made this journey.

For all of you that don't already know we drove 30 hours to Statesboro GA to be with Justin while he is working on the pipeline.

Also for those of you who know how much I hate to drive and the fact that I usually fall asleep in the car about 10 min. into the trip, will find the fact that I made it unbelievable.

I have to say that Torrance was the best baby. She got a little fussy but did great considering we left Evanston on a Wednesday morning and got to Statesboro Friday late afternoon.

One big plus was that I had Jordan (my sis. in law) there to help drive, entertian Tori and keep me awake. I don't think I could have made it with out her, especially having Tori, Gizmo and all our stuff!

Now, I miss all my family and friends but I have to say so far this has been an amazing little adventure! We have already seen so many new places...the beach being one of my favorite! But most of all we are all together again...and that is what matters most. Hope to see everyone soon!!

What a mess~ Our house in St. G

Helping mom pack...It was only the beginning!

Moving is never fun!!! But we got through it. Justin was at work and couldn't help so I packed a little of our house each day for about 3 weeks before the acutal move. My parents and sister(Mel) were lifesavers and came down to St. George and helped me pack up the moving truck. Even better was that my dad drove the U-haul back to Evanston (I was so nervous that I would have to do it). After two days of packing the truck we headed home.

Once in E-town we unpacked all of our stuff into a huge storage shed. I was sad to leave so much behind but excited for our next adventure (the move to Georgia). Once all the unpacking was done we enjoyed our 2 weeks of being in E-town and around family. We went to star valley, and enjoyed the family reunion (as you have seen prev.).

Our Family Reunion was a blast....

Started with Ranell, Capri, Tori and I going to see our grandparents in Star Valley (we only stayed one night but it was great to catch up)!
On the 7th of August we had an amazing Dutch Oven dinner in my parents backyard. My favorite Madrin Chicken, salads, melon, and best of all Carmel Apple Desert (which I couldn't even eat cause I ate too much chicken).
The next day we got up early and headed to Bear Lake. Our Plan was to go to the Minitonka (I am sure it's spelled incorrectly) Caves and then to the lake. It was so cold, cloudy and rainy that we went home after the caves.
I had such a great time despite the horrible weekend weather and loved haning with my family.

Busy Busy Busy

So I don't even know where to start. It has been a long and entertaining few weeks. We got all our stuff moved up to Evanston and put into storage. I drove to Star Valley to see my grandparents, went to Lyman to see Justins family and had an amazing time at the George Reunion (even though we didn't make it to Bear Lake due to the sudden chill in the weather). I also have had a few days to relax and hang with Justin's mom and sister and all my fam.
Yesterday I was sick and so was Tori. Oh boy has it been rough. I have never seen that little girl cry that much in the entire 8 months that she has been with us! It has been so sad to see such a mellow happy-go-lucky girl be so miseralbe. I am now better and she seems to be improving. I just hope we both feel better by wednesday.
Wednesday is the Big Day! We are driving the long 30 hour drive to Georgia. NOT excited for that but SOOO excited to be with my hubby. It has been over two months since we have seen him. It has been very hard for us and I am sure even harder for him. We hope to be there by saturday or possilby friday. I cant wait to experience that part of the country. There is an amazing journey ahead for us and I can't wait to share it with everyone!!

Ok ok...I def. have not been on top of the blogging thing lately. This was from the 4th of July. I have been waiting to post pics because I just got photo shop and wanted to do some cool things. Unfortunately I just havent had the time. cccccccccccc(thanks 4 ur imput tori) Anyways..the 4th was fun but we did miss the usual fireworks display and most of all we missed Justin! I will try to do posting more often but for now its short and sweet and to the point. Mainly pics because I know thats what i mainly look at when I do my blog checks :)

Father's Day

It was Justin's first Fathers Day this year. I know he is so happy to be a daddy and wishes he could be here with his precious little Torrance. It's so sweet how he talks to her over the phone. Even though she tries to put the phone in her mouth when I give it to her I know she recognizes his voice. I usually try to send him a photo or two daily and sometimes I will send him video. This is Tori talkin to her dad...it's a little dark(due to the cell phone) but I love it!

Wow...I can not believe Justin and I have been married 2 years. It doesn't feel that long at all. Justin and I have been together for a total of 8 1/1 years. It feels like a long time but it the grand scheme of things its only a second. We are so happy how our lives have been going so far and cant wait for all our new adventures as a family!!! My grandparents just had their 50th wedding anniversary on June 7th and my parents had their 26th anniversary on June 4th(I think...) I just hope we can stay as happy as they have been so far!!

Our Torrance Sue turned 6 months old on June 9th. She has been our greatest joy to date!! She is growing like a weed and at times I just want her to stop. Other times I just can't wait to see what she will do next (crawl, walk, her 1st words). I am just so great full to have the family that I do and all the love and support that we have from all those around us.

We have been so busy lately. We have had fun! We have loved being with each other and our families. WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TOO MIGHT YOU ASK...

*Mostly traveling up to Evanston to see the family. We always have a good time there but are usually ready to come home (St. George) to re-coup:)
*Enjoying the amazing St. George weather* we couldn't ask for a more perfect place to be in the springtime!!

MOST RECENTLY~
*Planning our move to Evanston...That is right, Crazy I know but it's time. We are ready to be around family as much as we will miss our life of six years here is St. George. Man are we going to miss this warm weather. I don't even know what a good winter coat feels like :)
*Getting daddy ready to go back to work:( It has been so great to have Justin home...it's been two months of pure bonding time! Justin left on 05-30-09. The job is in Georgia and is scheduled to last 18 months. It's great that he has this job opportunity be we sure will miss him!
*Due to Justin's distance is the main reason we are ready to be back in our home town. We plan to go to Georgia to visit daddy often and will most likely live there with him once we get a "good sized trailer". Most of our belongings will stay in Evanston though for when we find the perfect home and Torrance is old enough to go to school.

SAD BUT READY~
*Leaving St. George will be hard. I will miss my few friends that I have made over the years! I will miss the great job that I have. They have always worked so well with me there(especially through the pregnancy and after). I will miss the weather...I just can't say it enough! I will miss the nice movie theaters and restaurants. For those of you who know the town of Evanston there is not many restaurants or nice theaters. And most of all I will miss my MEMORIES that have been made!!!

NEW EXCITEMENTS~
*Spending endless amounts of time with my family. Looking forward to the shopping days with the girls:) Getting Torrance and Capri together. Walks at Bear River. Going to SLC or Park City for decent shopping and food. BEING A STAY AT HOME MOMMIE~ AT LEAST FOR A WHILE.

I am so excited for the summer. It has been so nice here lately and so I just had to go out and buy a little pool. I used to love to swim and so I figure why not start out Torrance early.
She seemed to like it at first until I decided to get in. She was supported by the back of the pool and so I stood up from the grass to hop in and as I stood up she tipped over. It was such a scary moment where her little face went into the water. It was only a spit second but it scared her and it scared me and her dad!! You can never be too careful!!
After the little miss hap I sat with her in the pool and we splashed around. She warmed up to the idea and seemed to enjoy her 30 min sunbathing experience. Maybe they make baby life jackets;)

Our Easter weekend was full of fun and family while we went Jeepin in Moab! We had a great time there and were lucky that Justin's parents had two jeeps! Justin and Brandon rode in the TJ AKA "The Flame Jeep" while us girls and Justin's Mom and Dad rode in the Rubicon (we figured we would be safer with them anyway:)... Torrance was such a trooper. She went everywhere with us and was in her car seat for almost the whole trip. The most exciting part of our whole trip was Sunday. That was the day we were going home...but not until ONE LAST RIDE. For this ride we decided to go on the trail:METAL MASHER. Well lets just say we made it about half way and then had a few rough rocks to conquer. As Justin tried to drive the jeep up a steep rock mutilple times with out making it he decided "one more time". As he went up we heard a pop. He back down and yes he broke the axle. Long story short..it was on a mountain top for 1 1/2 days while he and his dad found an axle and all the tools needed to fix it! While the rest of us drove home in the dodge so we could make it back to work the following days. Oh and one last thing... the other jeep did not make it unharmed. As we all piled in it to finish the trail it blew a seal and was leaking from the back end. YA...always one last ride but as they all said it aint fun til something gets broke:)

I now pronounce you Tiffany and Jesse Lacasse...We had such a great time at our friends wedding. Everything was so put together and turned out so beautiful. I am sure they couldn't have asked for more. It was a weekend full of fun...from the pre-bash at the bride and groom to be's house, then the rehersal dinner where we all just relaxed. When the wedding day came I was surprised at how calm Tiffany was! I tried to be there for her in any way possible so what did I do you ask??? I used my oh so talented abilities and made bows for some of the decorations (really I am not such a crafty one but it turned out ok). The ceremony was beautiful but a little chilli, espcieally since it wanted to rain at any second and I think sprinkled down on us just a little bit!! Once th ceremony was over it was picture time. We actually had a good time and I am sure it will show in the photos!! The rest of the night was just a good old time/party:) They had such an amazing idea for their sign in book where you hopped into a photobooth and got pics taken. Then you got to keep a copy and the other you put into a book and wrote a message. It was a huge hit!!

Tori's blessing day was so special!! I didn't think the day would ever come but finally Justin surprised me and came home on March 15th. Right then I knew I had to think fast and get the whole thing planned. It all came together and everyone was able to make it with very short notice!! I only wish I could have got some announcements out! My dad blessed this special girl on March 28th. He did such a great job and said so many things that made me know that Torrance will be a smart individual with high morals. I also know that she will always know that we love her and will be there for her no matter what!! Everything was so great and I was glad that I got to spend time with both mine and Justin's family.

I was also so happy that Torrance got to meet her great grand parents for the first time. They were so cute with her and it only makes me wish that we lived closer so that they could be around each other more often!!

Everything is going so great for us right now and I just feel so blessed to have two amazing families!!! We love you all.

I love to go up to Evanston because we always do something fun and crafty. This past trip my sister and Capri came to play for a day. We had plans to do all kinds of fun crafty projects like making bracelets for the girls (didn't happen)... Then I was telling Ranell how I wanted to buy Tori a tutu. She said, "those are cute but we could make our own". That's just what we did and they turned out better then half of the ones I have seen. It didn't take long at all to make them and it was so fun. Tori's turned out a little big and will fit for quite a few years but I plan on making a few more. I love them and it turn out to be a fun photo shoot prop!! Thanks Ranell for being so crafty and rubbing off on me a little!!

We never have enough time to see everyone that we wanted to-Sorry if we missed anyone this past visit!
Usually we are sooo not ready to leave and make our 5 hour journey back to St. G!
We always go home with more then we came with. Ok, almost always!
All in all we miss everyone and had such a great time:We spent most of our time visiting family and just relaxing. We love going home and are ready to go back.  In fact we we will be going back up to E-town on Friday for Tori's special day...Her baby bless.  Yes, finally, since she is now 3 1/2 months old. WOW!!!

My friend Tiff will be getting married in two weeks. I am sure she is ready since she and Jesse have been engaged for a while:) So I knew we had to throw her a bridal shower. I was so excited to get this whole thing planed(Heather and I- The Bridesmaides got it all cooked up!). When the day came...March 7th we had such a good time. We played lots of games and had some wonderful food and decorations(Shout out to Tiff's mom-she is so great). I hope Tiff had a good time and I hope she will have many special memories of this day!!

I had to do something that is so cute but some may think a little mean. We got Torrance's ears pierced. I just think it is the most adorable thing ever and she only cried for a few minutes after it was done. I think if I waited a few years down the road I would have to worry about her playing with them and them getting infected. I doubt she even has any idea that her ears have changed. Now she is even more of a girly-girl!! LOVE IT. ***oh by the way I have to mention that Justin was a little concerned about his baby going through the process but I convinced him that it was the perfect time and she would get over it quickly:)

My princess ready and preparing for her Disney Land Days!

So life right now is fun, crazy, tiring, lazy and so much more!! I having an amazing time with my "little lady". At the same time I am working 5 days a week- usually half days and trying to keep the house in order. That can be tiring. I sure would like to be a stay at home mom, but it is nice to get away for a few hours(not all the time though.. some days I just want to cuddle Tori and Gizmo). I am lucky that I have a live in baby sitter- Tori's auntie Jordan. She loves to watch Tori and I appreciate it so much!! We still are missing daddy and are ready to go back and visit again!! We miss not having him in our pics;)
On days that I don't work I don't accomplish much. I try but Tori sure does like to be held. She is such a happy and sleepy baby. She rarely fusses! She also loves when I make faces at her, especially when I stick my lounge out.
Today I got up and went to work at 7:00 am. I worked until 2 and then came home to my fam. I decided that since it was such a nice St. George day I would pull some weeds outside. Not my favorite thing to do but I thought it would be nice for Tori to get some fresh air. I bet it was sixty-somthing degrees. We were only outside for about 1 hour but I think Torrance really enjoyed it.
Well that's what is going on with us Ladies and allthough it is not too interesting we had to put up more recent photos.

Saying bye was so hard--

Well I can't believe the trip flew by so fast!! I loved being able to see Justin and it was great for him to see Torrance. I was also happy that we would be with him onValentines Day:)

So this trip really was great and I am so sad that it's over. I think our next one will be to Georgia which will be a fun, new experience as well. Can I just say I was a little nervous to fly for the third time in my life and with a baby mind you, but it really turned out better then I thought it would. It was a long flight to Houston and then a short one to Jackson Mississippi but Torrance slept the whole way. I couldn't ask for a better baby!
While in Monroe Louisiana we spent most of our time in the Hotel room. While Justin was at work we went and did some shopping with Megan. We didn't veer to far from the hotel because their road system is quite different there and we were afraid of getting lost or mugged:) It was slightly ghetto there. Once done shopping we would head back to our hotel where we would watch TV or nap until Justin got home. Once he was home he just couldn't take his eyes off his little girl. At times it was difficult to remind him that it was time to shower and get ready for dinner. We went to a few fish restaurants while there. They are big on the cat fish and fried foods. I didn't try the catfish but I did have fried pickles(oh man they are awesome!!) and fried bowtie pasta(also very good).
We got to spend V-day there as well and it was great. I gave Justin a card from Tori with her hand traced in it. I think he really loved it!!
On Justin's day off we went to Shreveport. The drive there was a little long but I loved looking at the scenery. Mainly it consisted of Blue Sky and Tonz of trees. The land scape is soo different there.
Monday was our last day there and Justin still had to work. I really didn't want to leave but I knew we had too. Justin drove us to the airport and we flew out at about 5:30 pm. We did not get back to St. George until 3-something in the am. Man did that flight and drive seem so much longer on the way home. Anyways...that was our trip in a nutshell and there was so much more to tell but I gets hard to type with a baby in your arms and I know you all like the pics the most.

Well... I have been awake since 5:30 and can't go back to sleep. Torrance is waking up so this will be short. We are leaving Louisiana today and are so not ready. We had a good time just hanging out, but we just didn't get enough time to see Justin. He was still working while we were here so yesterday was the only day we got to spend all day together! We both love him so much and are glad we had this opportunity to travel to the south. It is such a whole new world here. Fun to see but makes us greatful for what we have in Utah. I will post pics in a few days. We are flying home tonight and wont get back to St. G until like 2:00 am. Then lucky me I get to be at work at 7:00 am tomorrow. I will def. be excited to have my afternoon nap with Tori once I am off:)

We are all growing so much, physically and mentally. I hope to think that my baby weight is finally shedding, while I know Tori is packin on the lbs. Physically Torrance has already changed so much from her wide eyes to the roles on her thighs. I swear her hair is getting longer and the cheeks chubbier ( some days more then others).
Mentally, I am finally realizing that I am a mother and that I have a daughter(still slightly hard for me to say,"my daughter" but I love it). I know Tori is getting smarter each and every day. She has started to hold onto things like her little ring toys and is focusing more on objects that I put in-front of her. Also, I have to mention...she definitely knows where to look when she is hungry and is ready for feeding time! HeHe. It's so cute when she goes searching I just can't help but laugh.

Anyways, our lives are just continuing to get better and I have come to appreciate more of the small things. There is just so much more I have to say but for now I am keeping it short and sweet due to the fact that it takes forever to type with one hand, since our princess always loves to be held:)

First can I say, I have never been to Louisiana but I sure can't wait to visit!! Me and Torrance are flying out there next week to visit daddy!! Justin is out there working right now and maybe having the best/worst time of his life. I wonder from these photos how much work is actually getting done, which mean he has to be having some fun. On the other hand it may be hard cause he is missing us, especially his little lady!! Next time he sees her she will be all grown up (J/K but she sure has changed since he has been gone ie..more fussyness, giggles, poopy messes and more).
Justin is so good to us and has done everything in his power to give us what we want and need during these hard times(the economy). He is so lucky to have Moon in his life whom has given him such great opportunities to learn and try something new.

This weekend was soo fun! Justin was gone and so my mom, sisters and Capri came to visit us. I was so excited to have them come down to ST. George even though 2 days was just not enough. They got here late Friday so we just hung out at home and watched TV/Movie and played with our babies :). On Saturday we got up and got ready for a fun day of shopping. While we were getting ready my mom and sister made the best cinnamon rolls. I think it was my grandmothers recipe and has always been a family favorite! Once we were done getting ready we headed out for the day. We were mainly lookin for supplies for craft projects, and I have to say we weren't very successful. We did find picture frames and did some grocery shopping though. Once we were done we went and ate at Iggy's (my mom and sister Mel had never been there before-I think they liked it).
We headed home and once we got there it was time to make some bows for our babies. Ranell is so creative and helped me make mine. They turned out so great and colorfull. I think Tori has one to match every outfit. While we made bows my mom made one of our favorite meals- Cheesey Poato Soup-Amazing!! Once bows were made and food was devoured everyone was tired and it was about our bedtime.
Today they went home :( I was sad to see them go-time just flew by. I feel like we all had a good time though and hope we can get together more often. Sometimes you just need a girls weekend!! As for the boys...They missed being around us!

I still can't believe that I am a mom- I love this job and am not ready to go back to my other one! I am so enjoying the RANDOMNESS of motherhood, although it isn't easy for me (I am such a planner and with a baby that's hard to do).
I enjoy seeing Tori change and progress from day to day and hope that I will be a good mom. Justin is the best dad and loves to play with his baby.
I hope I can be as good of a mom as my mom was/is too me. I try to look back and think of all the things my mom has done for me and the list is endless and still continuing. She gave me a book last mothers day that is just so cute and I found a poem that I will strive to be like...

There's No One Like Mom

So who is the woman who thinks so much of us that she would stand on the corner in the rain, wearing reindeer slippers and Dad's overcoat just to make sure we get on the right school bus? Who is that lady who cheers the loudest during an awards ceremony because we won the Most Improved Student certificate---so loud you would thing we'd just received the Nobel Peace Prize? Who is this unheralded chef who can make macaroni and cheese taste like a gourmet meal and who chauffeurs us to ball games, youth group meetings, and piano lessons, never once asking for a tip?

Well i hope this girl learns to love the water cause we sure love bath-time, at least for now. I am sure it gets more difficult as they become older and more squirmy. It was fun to give Tori a bath in her little jacuzzi that her great grandpa gave her for Christmas. Who knew they made such things but they are awesome. It has a little jet and also has a little showering hose. On the days we don't do a full bath Tori still gets her hair rinsed, which I think is her favorite part!! She is always so calm during that process and is just wide-eyed. We love to capture these moments because she only has her first bath and first jacuzzi once :)

I am so happy that we had these photos taken. They will be great memories!! Annette Belnapp from Little Gems Photography came to our home and took these amazing photos. She did such a great job and I think Torrance just looks precious. I guess now it's just time for mama to start scrap-booking again.
Photos are always great to have and look back on. We all know they don't stay that sweet forever, although we all dream they will.
Torrance really is a blessing in our lives. Justin loves her so much and is so good with his daughter!! He will be leaving us soon for 4 weeks (To go work) and we will miss him so much:(!!!! I know Tori is going to be bigger when he sees her next so I will be catching all the moments on camera or video so that daddy doesn't miss out anything!! In the mean-time I know he will cherish all these lovely photos.

Before Torrance was born Gizmo was the baby. I am still not sure how he feels about the whole thing but I think he is a little jealous and likes to sit alone and pout sometimes. We still love him and I can't wait to see how he interacts with Tori once she is old enough to pull his tail... :) Also I think he will be her little guard dog even though he is somewhat of a sissy!
Torrance is our everything but Gizmo means alot to us. In fact...a little story-
About 3 weeks ago I was taking out some dirty diapers to the trash. I came back in the door and as I did that I was talking on the phone. Shut the door(at least I though I did). I went back to the bedroom and started feeding Tori. Then I realized Gizmo wasn't around so I assumed he was by the back door ready to go potty. I asked Justin to let him out and before I knew it Justin was running to get dress and said "you left the front door wide open" (it had probably been 20 min since I had taken out the garbage). Gizmo had fled the house. I just couldn't believe it. Justin drove around the neigborhood looking for him for about 20 min and still hadn't found him. I was home with Tori so I did what I could to help. I called every animal shelter in town. As I did that I was bawling. The worst part was he didn't have his collar on so anyone could have taken him. After about 30 min Justin finally returned home empty handed. He came in the door and saw that I had been crying so he went to the back door and in ran Gizmo. Justin had tricked me. He found him 1 block from our house and Gizmo ran straight to his truck once he heard Justin's voice. That was quite an ordeal for a recent pregnant woman to go through. Anyways he is a special dog and we love him.

4 Weeks Old Today!!

Well...I just can't believe our little girl is already four weeks old. It feels like just yesterday I was going into the hospital to see if it was time to give birth. She is already growing so much and will not likely fit in her new-born cloths much longer. Some days I wish I was still pregnant but then I think I am so glad I have finally met this sweet little girl. I could not picture my life any different now although it still doesn't feel like I am a mom. It's almost surreal!
Our little baby girl is doing great and is such a sweet baby. She is starting to make fun little faces and does cry(not very often though, which is such a blessing). Her papa loves her so much and is so good with her. She is his little princess and already has him wrapped around her little finger. It's funny because if he even hears a little squeak out of her he runs right to her side. He is already such a great daddy. One flaw though is that he can't handle changing her diapers;) Yes he gags...which usually gets him out of changing them and puts me on diaper duty.
Torrance has already had many great moments and I plan on posting plenty of them. She had her first professional photos taken yesterday and they turned out sooo cute. I hope to post them soon!!

I love Christmas time! To me it's not about the presents or spending lots of money...It's about being around family and having a good happy spirit!! This Christmas we had so much fun and got to spend it with both of our families. We were up in Evanston for 1 1/2 weeks. It felt great to just relax and enjoy the season.
This year we got a special gift! It was our sweet little princess Torrance. She is such a special gift and we love her so much...So does the fam and even though she won't remember this Christmas she definitely was spoiled. She out-did everyone.
We decided to do Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at my parents house which was fun cause we did my family traditions and everyone was there. On the eve we watched family home movies, got pj's from the elves, played games and ate my holiday fave..little smokies. Then we decided to keep the tradition alive and wake up at 5:00 am (I love doing this just because I am so excited. It makes me feel like I am 10 yrs old agian, also my dad has never not woke up at 5:00 on Christmas morn so we just had to).
We spent christmas evening over at Justin's and just relaxed. It was also nice because we got to spend time with Justin's grandpa Ted (whom just adores Torrance) and his cousin and his wife. Also we got to see our friends Megan and Zack. It was a great time and Justin's mom is a great hostess (she loves to make drinks for everyone and always offers to make me one but virgin style).
Christmas is just a great time of year and I just can't believe it is already over!! It always makes me a little sad but at least I have next year to look forward to and I think it will be alot more exciting with Torrance being a little older!!!!!!!

Torrance Sue Walker- Born December 9th, 2008.

These are some photos of Torrance "Tori" her first few days of life. She is such a beautiful girl and we are so blessed and great full to have her in our lives. She is definitely already Daddy's Little Girl and already has him wrapped around her precious little finger!!

This little lady was not so little. She was 8 lbs 4 oz at birth and had the chubbiest cheeks ever. I love them although they have gone down since birth. I guess you could say she has got those famous "George Cheeks"!

Snow in St. George

Snow time in St. George is usually very limited. That is why we were so excited when it snowed for two days and actually stuck. Justin was so excited to build his first snowman here in St. George (something he has never done in the 5 1/2 years we have live here).
Justin is very creative and had a nice "robotic" take on the original snowman. I added the celery stocks for ears or antennas to finish it off. I even think Gizmo enjoyed the first snow and his first snow man. Torrance and I on the other hand watched from a distance because we preferred to stay nice and toasty inside! This definitely was an unforgettable December winter in St. George.

Well...we have finally joined the blog world. It's crazy to see how many people actually do this, but it's cool cause you can see what all you old/new friends are up too.

Justin and I our living in St. George Utah and love it here although it is a little too far from both of our families (which we hate). Sometimes I think Evanston is screaming our names, but that cold weather would definitely be hard to get used to especially since it's usually so warm here. Although I have never seen it snow here like it has the past few days. Justin and I are really considering making a snowman. Haven't done that in years but I think the snow is wet enough. The snow is pretty awesome though and does make for an almost perfect Christmas. Torrance (our new baby girl) is what made our Christmas holiday the most perfect and special one to date!!!
